IMI – Where The Student Really Matters

1. Size. Unlike other Swiss Hotel Schools, which tend to be large, impersonal ‘education factories’, IMI remains comparatively small with a total of around 200 students.
2. The whole student. At IMI staff focus on care and development of the whole student in order to prepare them for the challenges of leadership in the real world.
3. Personal development planning. The student’s personality is developed through opportunities for academic, social and professional activities, the latter including in-training and professional xcursions, in a leading edge model developed as part of UK quality assurance for higher education.

2. ISO 9001:2000. IMI has received ISO (International Standards Organization) certification for our Quality Management System. ISO certification guarantees the quality of IMI's management system and is recognized & respected worldwide.

No other Swiss hotel school has received a like endorsement from this internationally respected authority on quality in higher education.
5. Local endorsement. A 2002 inspection by the Swiss Provincial Government for Luzern stated that the Schools are ‘beautifully located’, ‘managed professionally’ and ‘Students obtain good positions after they leave’.
